To ensure a smooth start to your journey with Basra Airline, we’ve designed our check-in process to be simple and passenger-friendly, both at the airport and online. For international flights, our check-in counters close 60 minutes before departure, while for domestic flights, they close 45 minutes prior. When planning your arrival at the airport, please consider the time needed for security checks and baggage procedures. Passengers with baggage must deliver their luggage at the “Baggage Delivery” counters before proceeding through security and heading to their departure gate.
If you prefer, you can also complete your check-in online. Online check-in opens 24 hours before your flight and closes 90 minutes prior to departure. This is especially convenient for passengers without baggage, who can skip the counter and go directly to security control with their mobile boarding pass. To check in online, all you need is your PNR or ticket number and your last name—this information is included in the confirmation email sent to you after ticket purchase.
Online check-in is also available for group bookings, and the system allows you to select which passengers you wish to check in. Please note that purchasing a seat does not complete the check-in process; you must still check in to receive your boarding pass. If you do not select a seat, the system will automatically assign one from the available options. Depending on your ticket package, seat selection may be free of charge or subject to an additional fee.
